The Dan Armstrong amplifiers were available as a combo amp, or in a piggyback design like the one seen here.

This one is a 100 watt amp that comes with a sturdy 4x12 solid plywood cabinet. Within the cabinet are four Goodman green labeled 12" speakers.

The amps are unique in the fact that they use sliders instead of potentiometers for tone and volume controls, which offers a greater amount of flexability over the sound.

The sliders are set up like a graphic equalizer, one octave from 62 to 8K.

There are two channels, with one input per channel and one volume slider per channel.

Internally, the amplifiers utilize four EL34 output tubes which give it that 'British' sound, reminiscent of Marshall, Hiwatt, and Vox amplifiers of that period.

The circuitry utilizes a transistor preamp, but to warm things up, the amp also uses an ECC83 driver tube.
