The Ibanez bass was identical to all the other MIJ Golden-Era bass copies at the time. Known as bass model 2364B, it features two humbucking (looking) pickups with chrome covers and a combination bridge/tailpiece assembly.

As seen upper left and right, side by side views of the Ibanez guitar and bass. Seen better in the enlarged view, it's somewhat odd that the bass instruments usually sport the Ibanez name on the headstock while the guitar models seem to be rather sporadic with it.

At left, another photo of the 'dynamic duo'. Seen better in enlarged view, notice in all the photos thus far, that the bass has a huge washer under the output jack where apparently, massive damages occurred to the pickguard.

At left, the Ibanez logo in mother of pearl on the headstock of an Ibanez 2364B bass. Like many of the copy models the gloss finish over the faux wood veneer has significant blistering and chipping to it. At right, the body of this 2364B appears to have a replacement scratchplate, as the grain in the faux wood does not look right when compared to the headstock at left. Also, the shape of the scratchplate looks to be a little off, in particular, in and around the area of the bridge/tailpiece combo and further back. In addition, it also appears that the volume and tone knobs have been changed out.

Seen above, two Ibanez 2364B models - both showing damage around the output jack. The one at left is missing a chunk of the pickguard, while at right a huge flat washer hides and supports massive breakage of the plate. Damages not withstanding, both instruments look unaltered, though the model on the left appears to be missing a strap peg on the upper cut-away horn, while the model on at right sports a sticker of sorts on the pickguard.

Like the guitar models these basses were made in the early 1970s to match their guitar brethern as they rolled off the production line at the Fujigen Gakki plant in Japan and were distributed in the US by Harry Rosenbloom, in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
