
Richard Fortus also played a Dan Armstrong · Ampeg guitar in the Psychedelic Furs. The guitar is reported to be a
1998 Reissue. Richard states that the guitar "Can be seen in the “Live From House Of Blues” DVD."
The pickup is not stock, and Richard goes on to state "The humbucking pickup was custom wound for me by
Arcane Inc. and really sounds great in this guitar.
Used on many recordings..." Fortus would go on to join Guns N' Roses in 2001 but has never turned his back on the 'Furs'
leaving all options open.

It's unknown whether the guitar is his or if he was borrowing Paul Stanley's clear guitar (Paul can be seen playing a Dan Armstrong
in the 'S' section). But Ace was playing this Dan Armstrong on October 27th 1974 in Youngstown Ohio.
