The pickup is not stock, and Richard goes on to state "The humbucking pickup was custom wound for me by Arcane Inc. and really sounds great in this guitar. Used on many recordings..." Fortus would go on to join Guns N' Roses in 2001 but has never turned his back on the 'Furs' leaving all options open.
