At left, an early 50's Fender Telecaster® given to Mark by his girlfriends father when he found out that Mark was a guitar player. After playing on it, as well as being photographed with it for a few days, Mark returned the guitar back to him, telling him that he didn't feel right keeping it as this particular instrument was worth a great deal of money. Apparently his girlfriends father about fainted when he realized the value of this guitar. As seen at upper right, and forever the joker - Mark poses for his Snoop-Dogg imitation.

Sadly, on July 2, 2006 Mark's life was cut short as he perished in an auto accident. The world lost a good friend and an amazing musician who would have certainly gone on to reach stardom. In fact, the Hamilton Music Awards held on Nov 19th 2006 were dedicated to Mark. He also received the award for Guitarist Of The Year. You can view the excerpts from the show here.

All that knew him miss his wit, his humor, and his overall kindness. Where we were once separated by miles, we are now separated by another dimension. I take rest in knowing that he and Dan are no doubt having some good talks.

Until we meet again. We miss you Mark!
